This project was built in the automotive accessories niche, focusing on the production and sale of custom-designed vinyl graphics.
The project launched successfully from the start. Sales grew quickly, and I was able to reach stable, strong revenue in a relatively short period of time.
However, after reaching a certain level, I faced structural limitations of the US market. Since I am based in Estonia and operated exclusively in the United States, my accounts were limited. For those unfamiliar with this issue: when a foreign seller begins to grow rapidly and strengthen positions within a category, US platforms often reduce visibility — products stop appearing in search results on marketplaces and across the wider internet.
Additional challenges arose with payment systems. European services do not function reliably in the US, and normal operation requires a US-based payment system with specialized 3D authentication.
As a result, continuing normal operations became nearly impossible: I effectively lost visibility and access to critical sales tools. Then COVID-19 began — borders closed, logistics became unpredictable, and any attempts to scale or even maintain stable operations turned into a constant struggle against external factors beyond control.
It became clear that without partnership or cooperation with a US market participant, further development was almost impossible. Even before the pandemic, I faced a major issue: delivery from Europe took 1–2 months, which is completely incompatible with US market expectations, where customers expect delivery within 3–5 days.
The only sustainable path is localized production within the United States. This niche does not require significant startup capital: material costs are low, and the main product value lies in design. Customers pay for unique visual identity — and this part is already fully built.
Unlike many competitors who have manufacturing capacity but lack original design value, I already have a structured product catalog. There are ready-made product lines, and some of them have reached top sales positions, confirming strong demand and real scalability.
Currently, I am looking for strategic advice or a potential partner interested in collaboration within the US market. With proper local infrastructure — especially production speed and delivery — this business can reach very high profitability in a short time.
For context: during the first seven months of operation, despite limitations and European logistics, the project generated approximately $60,000 in profit. Based on my conversion data and performance analysis, operating from within the US could realistically increase this result by 10x.
I am also open to selling the project if a serious and reliable buyer appears. Long-term operation from Estonia is not viable: US market protection and internal limitations effectively block the growth of foreign sellers. The only real solutions are either physical presence inside the US or production via a local US manufacturer — this is the most correct and scalable model.
I would appreciate serious advice or partnership proposals.
